Day-by-Day Journey

• Day 1: Welcome to Maun, the Gateway to the Delta: Upon arrival at Maun International Airport, an Okavango Exploration Safaris representative greets you warmly. We transfer you directly to a comfortable local lodge to relax after your travels. In the evening, meet your professional safari guide for a comprehensive briefing on the thrilling week ahead. Meals: Dinner included at the lodge. Overnight: En-suite room at a selected Maun Lodge.
• Day 2: Journey into the Wilderness (Moremi / Khwai Concession): After a fresh breakfast, leave the city behind in a custom-built, open 4x4 safari vehicle. Wind through traditional villages before entering the wildlife-rich floodplains of the Khwai Concession, bordering the famous Moremi Game Reserve. Arrive at camp to find your luxury walk-in tents fully pitched. Enjoy a delicious lunch before setting out on an afternoon game drive. Look out for wild dogs, leopards, and majestic lions. • Day 3: Waterways & Predators of Khwai: Wake up to the aroma of brewing coffee over the campfire. This morning, experience the Okavango Delta the traditional way. Glide silently along the Khwai River channels in a dug-out canoe (Mokoro), guided by an expert local poler. Return to camp for lunch and a siesta. Later, embark on an action-packed afternoon game drive that stretches into the early evening to spot elusive nocturnal creatures. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. • Day 4: Expedition to the Legendary Savuti: Leave the riverine forests behind and head north into the dramatic, arid landscapes of Chobe National Park's interior: Savuti. Known globally for its powerful predator dynamics and ancient baobab trees, Savuti offers an entirely different, rugged ecosystem. The drive itself is a rewarding game drive through changing terrain. Arrive at your newly erected oasis in time for a hearty dinner around the campfire. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Overnight: Mid-range en-suite tented camp in Savuti.
• Day 5: Tracking the Giants of Savuti: Spend a full day exploring the historic Savuti Marsh, the kopjes (rocky hills), and the Savuti Channel. This region is famous for its large lion prides, fierce hyena clans, and bull elephants. Your guide will interpret the tracks and sounds of the bush to bring you face-to-face with Africa's rawest survival spectacles. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Overnight: Mid-range en-suite tented camp in Savuti.
• Day 6: Savuti to the Chobe Riverfront: Travel north to the lush floodplains of the Chobe Riverfront. This area boasts one of the highest concentrations of elephants on earth. The landscape transitions into scenic river views and dense teak woodlands. Watch immense herds of buffalo and elephant congregate along the water's edge during your afternoon game drive. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Overnight: Mid-range en-suite tented camp along the Chobe Riverfront.
• Day 7: Chobe Floodplains to Kasane (The Grand Finale Cruise): Enjoy a scenic morning game drive along the river tracks as we move toward the town of Kasane. Check into your accommodation and enjoy a light lunch. At 14:45, board a specialized river boat for a private boat cruise on the Chobe River. Get incredibly close to swimming elephants, pods of hippos, and sunbathing crocodiles, all framed by a spectacular African sunset. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Overnight: Comfortable Safari Lodge in Kasane.
• Day 8: Fond Farewells: Savor a final, leisurely breakfast at the lodge reflecting on an incredible week of wilderness exploration. Your driver will transfer you to the airport for your onward flight home. Meals: Breakfast.
