When is the best time for an Okavango Delta safari?
The Delta is stunning year‑round. According to the Botswana Department of Meteorological Services and the Botswana Tourism Organisation:
Dry season (May–October)
Floodwaters peak in July–August. Wildlife concentrates near water. Days are 25–30°C, nights cool. Superb predator sightings.
Green season (November–April)
Lush landscapes, migratory birds, baby animals. Slightly less predictable game but spectacular photography and fewer visitors.
