Founded in 2012 by Okavango natives, brothers Theno "Sox" and Muyambo "Rambo" Kahoma. We didn't learn the wild in a classroom—we lived it. From a single vehicle to one of Botswana’s premier mobile safari operators, we remain a family business driven by authenticity, sustainability, and a deep love for the wild.
Raised in the Okavango Panhandle, Theno carries generations of inherited knowledge. His tracking skills and instinctive understanding of animal behaviour make every safari an authentic journey into the wild.

Our 3-Day-Okavango Delta Safari was very well organized, Okavango Exploration responded quickly to our requests and was able to accommodate us on a very short notice, offering a great experience in the Delta. By connecting us to the members of the local community in the Delta, who supported the trip as polers and guides, we were able to learn about life in the Delta in addition to experiencing the wildlife and hearing about medical and other uses of the plants and trees in the Delta. Our guide shared his great knowledge while leading the bushwalks on the island or taking us out on a sunset cruise into the Delta. We truly enjoyed our safari with Okavango Explorations and the team and would like to recommend this trip to anybody who would like to spend a few days in the Okavango Delta.
